Additional Useful Functionality:

Test Mode:  There is a simple switch on the admin page to let you run the generator in a test mode - so that the generated pages are invisible to everybody but you - for example you may want to make large-scale changes at some point in the future and it will allow you to experiment with different layouts etc before going live with your new design lay out. We use this during the initial setup so that we can get it all perfect before switching it to 'live'.  All the product and category webpages are generated in directories kept separate from the rest of your website, so no accidental conflicts can occur.  Our folder structure also enables higher rankings of the pages by search engines.

Housekeeping:  The product also manages housekeeping automatically - it detects and deletes old pages and old products when they are removed from your in-house systems spreadsheet or .csv file.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO):  The Catalogue generator is designed to generate webpages that are well formatted for Search Engines.  However we have an optional add on that will go a little deeper into SEO than this - so if you want your product categories to rise above your competition in Google, ask for the SEO option.  Note that this will require an additional spreadsheet which we will prepare for you - and which you can then maintain yourself (or ask us to do it for you).

Customisation:   The product is designed to be as flexible and scalable as possible, so that - whatever your requirements might be, if we don't have it we can build it in for you.  Also we include customisations as a separate module so that future versions remain backward compatible with your customisations.
